Raphoe Christmas Village and LIght Switch On

Raphoe’s First Christmas Village, will launch on Friday 29th November at 5pm, with entertainment from The Finn Valley Mens Choir, Christy Murray & his merry band of Tin whistlers, music also form Sarah Jane! Light switch on at 6pm, followed by the arrival of Santa, with a complimentary gift for each boy and girl and a free photo opportunity. Seasonal refreshments also served.
The fun continues with A Christmas Market Saturday 11 – 5pm & Sunday 1 – 5pm,
local businesses, traditional stalls, home baking, jewellery etc. Live Music.

Also part of Raphoe’s Christmas Village, will be the Christmas Tree Festival from Friday 29th Nov. in St Eunans Cathedral through to Sunday Dec 1st. Crib exhibition (largest private collection in Donegal) in St Eunans Church also from Friday 29th through to January 6th.
Marys Meals are hosting their annual Christmas fair on Saturday 30th & Sunday 1st Dec. in the Diamond as part of the Raphoe Christmas Village.
Friday 29th also sees the launch of the Santa Express at Oakfield park.
Sunday 1st Dec at 7pm will be The Community ~Christmas Carols in St Eunan’s Cathedral.
Thursday 5th December, Raphoe Community Playgroup will host their big Christmas quiz in Friels Raphoe, in aid of the Volt House Christmas appeal, with prizes for the best Christmas Jumper, always a great night.
